The Newfoundland and Labrador Francophone Economic Development Network (RDÉE TNL) is pleased to announce the arrival of Mr. Andrew Hibbitts as their new Economic Development Officer.
Andrew grew up on the scenic west coast of Newfoundland, near the town of Stephenville. He’s passionate about travel and entrepreneurship.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cape Breton University and diplomas in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the College of the North Atlantic, Andrew began working for an economic development organization in the Corner Brook/Humber Valley region. Through this opportunity, Andrew engaged mostly with local businesses and support agencies but also with the tourism sector. He continued his studies by also completing a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies and a number of professional development certificates.
He later moved to the small overseas French territory of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. During his time there, he became completely immersed into the French culture and worked as an entrepreneur and also in the tourism industry.
Andrew is thrilled to be back on the West Coast and is happy to be participating in the economic development and employability of Francophone communities of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Feel free to contact Andrew by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (709) 642-5155.
